Census Mate is designed to function strictly as a local offline tool for school census management.

Local Storage Only: All data entered into the App, including but not limited to family details, student names, ages, communities, and educational information, is stored locally on your device’s internal storage. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any of this data on external servers or cloud databases.

Permissions: The App may require certain permissions (such as storage access) solely for the purpose of exporting the locally generated PDF reports or Excel sheets to your device and sharing them via your chosen third-party apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Email).

2. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics or advertising services that track or collect user data. If you choose to export and share data (like a PDF report) using a third-party application installed on your device, that action is governed by the privacy policies of those respective applications.

3. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for use by teachers and administrative staff for census data collection. While the App processes data related to children (students), this data is strictly kept local on the user’s device. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 over the internet.

4. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Data. Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of this data relies on the physical and digital security of your device itself. We recommend keeping your device protected with a PIN, password, or biometric lock.
